Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital Sub Group
NNUH* subgroup of the Acute Hospitals Working Group

This small group goes on bimonthly visits to the hospital to learn how day-to-day services run and to pass on their observations and recommendations. Members participate in Trust committees to influence decisions on how services are delivered and take part in mandatory inspections of cleanliness and the environment. The outcomes and achievements of this group have included:-
- an increase in trained staff in Medicine for the Elderly ward (from a visit report);
- highlighting recent public concerns about inpatient catering which is currently being tackled by the Nutrition on Wards committee; and
- a LINk response on the rebuild of Cromer & District Hospital which has informed Norfolk's Health Overview & Scrutiny Committee in their decision to approve the rebuild plans.
