Maternity Services Working Group

This group was set up to review concerns raised by service users regarding poor communication of the information provided to expectant mothers, and the on going concerns with regard to the delivery of information to patients surrounding tests and treatments during pregnancy.

The group has explored what information and choices are available for expectant mothers before, after and during pregnancy; using the appropriate services to engage with women from ethnic minorities, and talking to those with physical disabilities with dignity and respect.
