More cake and coffee morning dates

The team at Norfolk LINk kick-started the New Year with the first in a series of free ‘cake and coffee’ mornings.

The aim of the events, which will be taking place across Norfolk this spring, is to give more people the opportunity to learn about what LINk does and for existing members to be able to talk face-to-face with team members.

Graham Dunhill, Lead Member for Communications, said: "We hope this series of informal gatherings will provide an opportunity for people to meet our staff and find out more  about what Norfolk LINk is doing to give a voice to patients regarding health and social care services locally.”

The first cake and coffee morning took place in Great Yarmouth Library and two more dates and venues have already been confirmed.

Please come along and meet us at The Duke’s Head Hotel, in Tuesday Market Place, King’s Lynn, on Wednesday 22 February, from 11.00am to 12.30pm, or at The Granary Theatre, Staithe Street, Wells-next-the-sea, on Wednesday 21 March, from 11.00am to 1.00pm.

UNITE - In association with Norfolk Wellbeing

Unite aims to bring together people who, for whatever reason finds themselves isolated.

The project is to support people, to make friends, learn something new and enjoy social activities.

Unite has groups across Norfolk - the largest of which is in Norwich. At Unite meetings members discuss and plan, a range of activities for the month ahead. There is time at meeting to socialise and have a meal or drink at the venue. Members with common interests can form their own social groups and can choose to meet whenever they wish.

A new group is being developed for Harleston and surrounding areas.

You can attend at 2pm-3pm on the second Tuesday of the month at Harleston Info Plus, 8 Exchange Street, Harleston

£1.20 to include Tea, Coffee, and a snack.
