Ambulance Working Group
The Norfolk LINk Ambulance Working group have focused on the Turnaround Times of Ambulances on arrival and departure at Acute Hospitals and District Nurses Out of Hours cover. As such the Ambulance working group has closely monitored the District Nurses Out of Hours Service since the inception of Norfolk LINk. This has been achieved by monitoring the service delivery throughout Norfolk and attending and responding to request for comment by the Norfolk Health Overview and Scrutiny meetings throughout the year.
The ambulance working group have consulted the East of England Ambulance Service Trust and will be liaising with Norwich & Norfolk University Hospital, the James Paget Hospital and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital regarding the Turnaround times of Ambulances for a full understanding of the issue. (A visit to the Health Emergency Operations Centre (HEOC) is scheduled for the near future).
Ambulance Turnaround Norfolk
In July 2009 the Norfolk LINk Strategy Group agreed that the LINk's Ambulance Group should conduct an investigation into ambulance turnaround / handover times for the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, James Paget University Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
